Write Computer Articles for Top Dollar

Company: WorldStart.com
Income Level: High
Pay: $35 - $55 per accepted submission

WorldStart is seeking authors to write about general windows, internet, and e-mail tips for their newsletter. The newsletter has two primary sections - Computers 101 & Tip of the Day. The Computers 101 section is presented in a Q&A style and generally covers a topic beginners would be interested in.
We are also seeking feature articles for our website covering any and all aspects of computing. In addition, we are looking for computer terms and definitions for the Terms section of our website.

All submissions should be written at a level anyone can understand. The goal is to show the average user how to use his or her computer. Most tech manuals and books assume the user is already computer literate, but World Starts publication / web site is designed to help everyone learn their computer, not just techies.

For example, let's say you had a tip that involved opening the Mouse properties under the control panel. Most publications would simply tell the user to open the Mouse icon under the Control Panel.

They are looking for more detail than that. We tell our readers EXACTLY how it's done - Hit the Start Button, Settings, Control Panel. Then double-click the Mouse icon

PAY
*Payment varies widely depending on the quality of the submission, length, and usefulness of the tip or topic.

The minimum page length is 1 page (approximately 400 words) with screenshots - $45.00, without screenshots - $35.00

Two pages (approximately 800 words) with screenshots - $55.00, without screenshots - $45.00

The max is three pages (approximately 1200-1500 words) with screenshots - $65.00, without screenshots - $55.00.
