At US Legacies, we want to publish and preserve these stories for future generations.

Whenever we are contacted by someone that is willing to pay a professional writer, to write their life story, or the stories of a loved one, we need good writers that we can recommend to them. So, if you believe that you would enjoy this type of writing, and are qualified to write a smooth, interesting historical story, please e-mail us.

What we need from you, before we can recommend you to others, is a sample of your writing, your name, phone number, the city and state where you live, information as to how far away your would travel to interview someone, and a list of available equipment that could be used for interviews, such as audio tape recorder, video tape recorder, camera, etc.

You will be working as a Freelance Writer, and as such the person hiring you to write their relatives story, is the one that will be paying you. You are welcome to set you own amount, as long as it does not exceed the amount we advertise on our web site. Currently that amount is $500 for a personal interview.
